Description
Condit

(syn. Melonceddha). Described by Guglielmi (1908) and Vallese (1909), the latter with illustrations of leaves and fruit. According to Vallese, this variety is widely grown in Lecce Province, both for fresh fruit and for drying.

Tree large. Leaves both 3- and 5-lobed. Figs pyriform, with neck gradually narrowing from body to the short stalk; ribs slightly elevated; color greenish yellow; pulp light rose.
