An Egyptian fig, described by Badie and Ghamrawi (1931). Tree of medium size; leaves deeply lobed. Bears two crops, the first of which is most important. Appears in the markets earlier than Sultani.

Figs medium, oblate-spherical; stalk short; skin thin, glabrous; color yellow; pulp amber, seedless, very sweet.
