Description

The Stella fig produces large elongated, pear-shaped fruit with deep purplish-red sweet flesh and yellow/green skin. Good flavor. Considered by many to be an excellent variety for cooler climates where it is a reliable producer. The story goes that this fig was brought to the US by an Italian sailor and at one point was considered lost but was recently rediscovered in Portland, Oregon.

Comparable to Vasilika Sika.
