Adriano's Genovese Nero, Rafed'sĀ Genovese Nero

Description

Distinct from Rob's Genovese Nero, which is essentially a California Brown Turkey.

Similar to Italian 258. There is some debate as to whether they are the same. Either way, it's an awesome variety. The AF designation is for Adriano, from whom Rafed originally acquired the variety.

The taste has been compared to Italian 258, Black Madeira or Preto, but easier to grow and ripens earlier. Does not tolerate rain well.
