- Description
Cyprus breba figs are similar to Palermo Red. Cyprus is a hardy tree that produces light grey-brown figs with honey-coloured interior. Delicious and fine-grained. Original tree was located in Victoria, BC; owned by a gentleman who was adamant that the variety of the tree was called ‘Cyprus’ – despite there being not much documentation of this variety in circulation. So it is possible that this tree is misnamed. What is known is that it is a dependably hardy and productive tree that produces luscious, rich-flavoured figs. This ones’ a keeper!
