Description

There is some debate about whether this is the same as Kathleen's Black.

Caromb is a city of the Provence. Medium to large tree. Large leaves of 3-5 quite marked lobules. Long pear-shaped brebas, from 40 to 80 gr. Violet skin with reddish neck. Small stem. Eye of medium size with pink scales that stand out softly. Amber-pink pulp. Sweet.

The second crop of figs starts at the beginning of August. Figs are similar to brebas, but much redder pulp and sweeter. Good fresh dried.
