Description

Condit Monograph

Agouarzguilef. Described and illustrated by Mann (1939b, .1942). Abachlaou, also found at Tizi-Rached, may be the same. Tree vigorous, diffuse, very productive; leaves 5-lobed. Figs medium, oblate-spherical, slightly oblique; stalk short; neck none, ribs not prominent; color black, with white flecks; pulp red, sweet. Quality good for drying, but inferior to Azeudjar. Season later than Taranimt.
