That damned dam. It just keeps getting worse. That “little” crack I mentioned previously? It’s now a rockslide from hell. That, in itself, wouldn’t be so bad. It’s done what it is going to do and I doubt it is going anywhere from here.

Today, the appliances arrived. The timing was good, as I just finished painting and didn’t hafta work around them. They will be in the way for a while tho, as the cabinets aren’t yet installed.
Today was a special day, as it included Mare’s son, Charlie, and his future wife, Lauren. I kinda felt bad putting them to work, but they seemed more than happy to help.
One of my least favorite jobs is sanding drywall. The dust gets everywhere, including my sinuses. Yes, I did wear a mask, but it didn’t help much. And it’s just tedious and backbreaking. But it needs to be done. Sadly, I don’t really have any pix from this stage of the project.
After a couple of days of heavy rain, I assess the pond. Lookin’ good!
